Multidisciplinary projects, technically complex issues, various types of ships: as a (Lead) Electrical Engineer at , you will work on projects where even you as a specialist, will not instantly be able to provide an answer. Sometimes you will be involved in large-scale projects from the concept up to and including the Detailed Design and on other occasions, you will work on smaller, more intensive projects. Not only is your role crucial for the design of electrical installations, drive systems and automation on board ships, but also for the realisation of innovations. In the field of electrical engineering, you are a source of information for customers and colleagues, you will work together with other Electrical Engineers and contribute your ideas about the growth and development of the discipline.
From submarines and frigates to unique floating offshore energy applications: works as a naval architecture and marine engineering company on the most unique and technically challenging maritime projects worldwide. We operate within the markets: submarines, naval vessels, floating offshore energy and special vessels. of all these disciplines and provides consultancy and engineering services for all project phases, from the first feasibility studies to the complete design and engineering and site supervision. Examples of unique projects and innovations that has worked on are the upkeep of the Dutch Walrus-class submarines for the Ministry of Defence, Malaysian frigates' lifespan extension , and an innovative concept for a floating transformer platform .

What do we expect of you?

You must have at least 5 years of work experience and specialist knowledge of concept and basic design. This profession holds no secrets for you. You enthusiastically seek the limits of what is technically feasible and know exactly, how to bring innovations on board. You love diversity in projects and will not shy away from a challenge. Whatever type of ship you are working on: you understand the context of the project and possess the ability to oversee the whole. Additionally, you have the drive to continually improve and innovate. We, therefore, expect that you keep yourself up-to-date with the latest developments and contribute your ideas as to how we, as a company, can get involved.
