As a Senior/Lead Marine Mechanical Engineer, you'll be in the best place if you love diversity and technically complex challenges that even the smartest specialists cannot just solve. Sometimes you will be working on a large-scale multidisciplinary project and on other occasions, on a smaller but more intensive project. Your role is crucial to the development of technologically advanced mechanical systems and the setup of equipment and piping of naval vessels, floating offshore units and special vessels. You will be working on the design of different mechanical systems like Propulsion Train Design, Planes and Rudder Design and special components like valves and hatches. You will be the sparring partner of the Lead Engineer, will supervise Junior Engineers and will contribute your ideas and views about the growth and development of the discipline.

We operate within the markets: submarines, naval vessels, floating offshore energy and special vessels. of all these disciplines and provides consultancy and engineering services for all project phases, from the first feasibility studies to the complete design and engineering and site supervision. Examples of unique projects and innovations that has worked on are the upkeep of the Dutch Walrus-class submarines for the Ministry of Defence, Malaysian frigates' lifespan extension , and an innovative concept for a floating transformer platform .

What do we expect of you?

You must have at least 5 years of work experience and specialist knowledge of concept and basic design. You enthusiastically seek the limits of what is technically feasible and know exactly how to bring innovations on board responsibly. You love diversity in projects and will not shy away from a challenge. Whatever type of ship you are working on: you understand the context of the project and possess the ability to oversee the whole. Additionally, you have the drive to constantly want to improve and innovate. We, therefore, expect that you keep yourself up-to-date with the latest developments and contribute your ideas as to how we, as a company, can get involved.
